Monitoring the business start-up phase of 48 beneficiaries who received training and in-kind investments from the Haldoor Technical and Vocational Training Centre (HTVTC) for assessing the success of the program
A team from SOCA recently visited 48 of the 50 beneficiaries on February 18, 20, and 25, 2024. The team was particularly interested in observing the progress of these entrepreneurs as they embarked on their business ventures. These individuals had received training and in-kind investments from the USADF through HTVTC to support them in starting their businesses.
The support provided encompassed complimentary training in Level One tailoring, tie & dye, henna, and makeup. In addition to the training, participants also received monthly incentives to assist them in refining their skills and advancing their professional growth.
This group is made up of young women who have been actively engaged in various areas of Hargeisa, including Digaalle, M. Mooge, Inji, Calaamadda, New Hargeisa, October, Sheikh Madar, Golwaraabe, and Baarwaraabe, since December 18, 2023.
