Haldoor Technical and Vocational Training Center’s Tailoring, Tie & Dye, and Makeup & Henna training program
SOCA conducted a four-month training program at the Haldoor Technical and Vocational Training Centre on February 14, 2024, to enhance the skills and employability of 50 young female adults. The program focuses on Tailoring, Tie & Dye, and Makeup & Henna applications, with 25 participants enrolled in Tailoring and Tie & Dye and 25 in Makeup & Henna. The courses are designed to provide expertise in these specialised fields, with experienced instructors guiding trainees through the intricacies of tailoring, pattern making, and stitching. The Tie and Dye module introduces participants to fabric dyeing, allowing them to create unique designs. The makeup and henna training equips participants with the expertise to enhance natural beauty and create stunning looks, with professional makeup artists teaching the latest techniques in both traditional and contemporary styles.
