In-kind investment distributed by IPRT in Hargeisa to 17 businesswomen affected by the devastated Waaheen Market Fire

On December 31, 2023, seventeen women's clothing entrepreneurs received crucial support from the Institute for Practical Research and Training (IPRT) at Abarso Tech University in Hargeisa after the devastating Waaheen Market fire. The fire had severely damaged their properties and livelihoods, leaving them in despair. However, IPRT stepped in to provide them with a boost and empower them to rebuild their businesses.

 

The 17 entrepreneurs of businesswomen, who displayed immense determination and resilience, received support from the USADF through IPRT to recover from the fire, revitalise their businesses, and regain financial stability. The collaboration between IPRT and these entrepreneurs symbolized the power of unity and support during times of crisis, showcasing the strength of the human spirit and the unwavering determination to overcome challenges.
