Abdinasir Ahmed Osman has extensive experience from successful implemented capacity building assignment for civil society. Extensive knowledge and experience of operating in fragile country context throughout his entire working career. 20 years of experience in Project management. Familiar with government policies and procedures in the regions through interactions with governmental bodies. Abdinasir holds M.A in International and Diplomacy from Mount Kenya University. Pursuing M.A Disaster and Risk Management and Project Development, Jigjiga University in Ethiopia. BA in Social Science ( politics and sociology as major), The University of Nairobi.

Fatima Aden Eidle

Program Director

Fatima Aden Eidle has more than 20 years of experience in developmental programs with extensive knowledge of the local context. She holds M.A Project Planning and Management in Open University of Malaysia (OUM) and MSc in Development Studies, Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT). Dr.Catherine Wanjiku has more than 16 years of experience in Project Development. She has extensive knowledge and experience in Somalia, Somaliland context. Catherine holds Ph.D in Project Planning and Management, The University of Nairobi. M.A Humanitarianism & Conflict Response, The University of Manchester, UK. M.A. Project Planning and Management, The University of Nairobi, Kenya. B.A in Economics as major and Socialogy minor from Catholic University of Eastern Africa,Kenya.

Mohamed Mohamud Duale

Area Manager

Duale has 10 years of experience in working with private sector, International and Local NGOS. He was trained as Organizational Development Consultant through SOCSIS program funded by EU. Duale, worked with SOCA as Monitoring and Evaluation officer, USADF funded projects. Before SOCA, Duale worked as senior coordinator for community based bottom up pace building project in middle Shabelle with Somali Peace Line, Project Coordinators for youth training and placement program with HIMILO Foundation and Consultant in multiple field projects. Duale has Master of Development Studies from Joma Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology in Kenya.

Fathia Mohamed Amin

Area Manager

Fathia worked with SOCA as Area Coordinator. She is responsible the overall day today activities of SOCA, Somaliland office. Fathia holds MA in Project Planning, University of Hargeisa and Bachelor Degree in Economy, Hargeisa University. Fathia worked with SOCA for the last 8 years. Further, Fathia specialized Project Planning and Management. She has good experience in the local context and engaged many consultancy activities on PCM with SOCA.

Jamal have academic and field experience, and track record in providing leadership and technical direction to humanitarian organization , academia and government institutions in humanitarian assistance, disaster risk reduction and resilience program. included standalone emergency and disaster risk reduction programming, as well as within the sectors such as WASH, Health and Nutrition, NFI & cash programming, protection and food security. Jamal worked as Emergency Program Manager with International Rescue Committee (IRC). Regional Emergency Nutrition Coordinator with UNICEF/UNOPS, Ethiopia. Project Manager of Fleet with WFP/DPPB. He worked as Disaster Risk Management Consultant with SOCA. Jamal also works as senior lecturer, Jigjiga University, Ethiopia. he holds Msc in Disaster Risk Management and Sustainable Development, Bahardar University, Ethiopia. in Business Administration (Glasgow Caledonian University, Scotalnd, UK. Guled Abdi Ahmed

Higher Studies, Application of automatic controls engineering for mechanical power systems, Cairo University, Egypt. B.Sc. In electrical power system and machines, Ain-Shams University, Egypt. Abdifatah Ahmed

Renewable Energy Expert

Abdifatah is a Mechanical and Electrical Engineer with over 4 years of robust experience in the Renewable Energy field. I designed, supervised, assessed, consulted, and implemented small and medium-sized projects, whether residential, commercial, agricultural, or village electrification manners which contained Grid-tied, Off-grid, and Hybrid projects. I hold an M.Sc. in flight mechanics engineering (Civil Aviation) from Cairo University, attended courses in higher studies, and research in Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency from a vocational training center in Cairo, and won a higher studies diploma in the Application of automatic controls engineering for mechanical power systems at Cairo University, and also, earned B.Sc. in aerospace engineering at Cairo University, Aerospace department. I worked with private institutions and firms such as SOMLIFT as a technical supervisor, and on a governmental electrification project for a small village as a designer. Also, I recently work with Somaliland Solar Firm and Bahsan Solar Company as a designer, consultant, and technician advisor in Renewable Energy specially the solar and solar products.

Faisa Abdi Loyaan

Gender and Conflict Specialist

Faiza is Gender and conflict specialist with 18 years’ professional experience focussed particularly on the Horn of Africa and East Africa. Extensive experience of facilitating policy dialogue processes; undertaking field research; designing, implementing, monitoring & evaluating peacebuilding and development programs; and building the capacity of individuals and organizations in gender analysis, conflict sensitivity and peacebuilding. Strong knowledge of and relations with local and non-state actors, INGOs, bi-lateral and multi-lateral donors in the Horn of Africa. Faisa worked with, Agency for Cooperative and Research in Development (ACORD) as Project coordinator for Somalia, Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. Safer World as Program Coordinator (Non-State Actors). Faisa also worked other organizations.
