ADAM AUTO MECHANICS JOB PLACEMENT SESSION IN BURAO

ADAM Auto Mechanics Job Placement Session in Burao

On December 26th, 2023, the SOCA team embarked on a monitoring trip to Burao, led by Mr. Abdinasir Ahmed, the Executive Director of SOCA. The purpose of this trip was to closely observe the job placement phase of twenty trainees specialising in auto mechanics at the esteemed Academy for Development and Advocacy of Minorities (ADAM). The team closely monitored the trainees' progress and outcomes, observing how they applied their newly acquired skills in real-world settings.

The majority of participants were actively engaged in permanent auto mechanics workshop occupations, where they performed full-time jobs, provided assistance, or were self-employed. This demonstrated their unwavering commitment to the field.

These candidates possess indispensable skills that are highly sought after by employers. They consistently display a prompt and responsive attitude towards their duties, showcasing exceptional time management abilities. Furthermore, they have successfully secured employment and are currently earning daily incentives. These recent incentives have varied between $3.5 and $8, depending on the specific job position.
