ADAM Auto Mechanics Job Placement Session in Hargeisa

The SOCA conducted a monitoring tour on December 24, 2023, to observe the placement phase of 20 young male auto mechanics trainees at the Academy for Development and Advocacy of Minorities (ADAM) in Hargeisa.

The trainees completed a comprehensive mechanics training programme, and out of 17 interviewed participants, fourteen secured permanent positions in various workshops. Three trainees also obtained employment at Xisbiga, Calaamadda, and Masallaha. The trainees possess 80% to 90% of the necessary skills, demonstrated exceptional time management abilities, and have earned daily incentives ranging from $10 to $25.
