Haldoor Technical and Vocational Training Centre Graduation Ceremony and In-kind Investment Event

On December 17, 2023, the SOCA team attended the graduation ceremony and in-kind investment event for 50 trainees in Makeup and Henna, Tie & Dye, and Tailoring at the Haldoor Technical and Vocational Training Centre in Hargeisa, Digaalle village. The group consisted of fifty young women, with 25 specialising in tie & dye and tailoring and 25 focusing on makeup and henna.

The event was attended by dignitaries, including the SOCA team, Haldoor officers, Mohamed Mooge district governor, Digaalle district governor, trainers, parents of the trainees, and other guests. The principal of Haldoor expressed gratitude to the United States African Development Foundation (USADF) and its partner, SOCA, for their unwavering support of the project. The dignitaries extended congratulations to the graduates and offered prayers for their future success.

Finally, the Mohamed Mooge district governor delivered a closing speech, expressing gratitude to the sponsors of the project and observing the in-kind investments allocated to the graduates for their business start-ups.
