AUTO MECHANICS TRAINING GRADUATION CEREMONY REPORT

The Academy for Development and Advocacy of Minorities (ADAM), a Somali non-governmental organization, held a graduation ceremony for its Auto Mechanic Trainees programme on November 6, 2023. The event, attended by around twenty graduates and guests, included the SOCA team, project manager Yusuf Mohamoud Hussain, ex-commissioner Omar Sultan Mohamoud, and Somaliland Parliament member Barkhad Jama’ Batun. The ceremony began with a Quran recitation, followed by an inspiring speech by the project manager, emphasizing the importance of continuous learning and diligent effort. The graduates expressed gratitude to USADF, SOCA, ADAM, and their trainer for their invaluable support during the training period. The ceremony celebrated the achievements of the programme and showcased ADAM's commitment to empowering individuals from minority backgrounds.
